You ARE awesome

I love the cute things kids say. They always come right out of the blue.

Here's my conversation with my youngest son, age 4.

I guess it's hard to remember that the word 'awesome' is a good thing.

"I love you, Mommy."

"I love you too! I think you're awesome."

"I think you're...not."

"Huh?" I said, feigning hurt feelings.

"Oh, I mean you are."
