Portrait of Cyrus, the final pencil illustration for the book!I had drawn him previously in a side view, but he didn't look as much like a real person that way. I used two images of Cyrus - one a painting and the other a sculpture - and came up with my own first version (the side view portrait). I decided I didn't like the sideview version, so I used my first drawing as yet another reference and turned Cyrus toward us.
