This portrait , drawn from a very old and partly damaged photograph is a good example of how custom portraiture can be used as a form of restoration. My artwork isn't intended to be just a copy of a picture. The intense shadows and darks of the reference photograph were toned down, the client has a larger image of her loved one and has also gained an investment in original art that will be appreciated by her family for years to come.
