Typewriter Art by Paul Smith

Paul Smith, born 1921, died 2007 did incredible artworks using a typewriter.

He had Cerebral Palsy. I found this website fascinating, and it is so inspirational to see what can be done when you are determined.

Mr. Smith was also very accomplished in the game of Chess, because he had such great visualization skills.

How To Order a Pencil Portrait from Me

Here's how it goes:
  • You send me a few pictures that you like that you feel really show that person or pet's personality best.
  • We discuss...
  • Let me know any changes you would like done (ie, don't draw the orthodontia! Reduce wrinkles! Remove a scar)
  • You pay at least half the fee by check or you can use PayPal orGoogle Checkout to send electronic check or pay by credit cards. The fee is currently $100 per pet or human subject.
  • I get to work.
  • In a few days, I send you a preview of what the artwork looks like by email.
  • We discuss...
  • If it's A-OK with you then, you pay the second half of the fee.
  • I verify your mailing address and ship it to you in an archival clear sleeve for a beautiful presentation and protection.
That is really all there is to it, I don't bite :)
